Artist Statement: Erich Dzbl (Mexico, 1985) considers photography as the primary language. He is interested in spaces with minimal compositional elements and the interaction of a body with light in orden to observe the communion of textures that they create together, and in turn, they can retain their own identity.

A Portrait is a metaphorical or dreamlike idea of illusory spaces between walls and voids. It keeps it’s visual lyric that draws from the tradition of black and white seeking to represent a natural and instinctive element.
